American skier Bode Miller leads World Cup rankings
American alpine skier Bode Miller has climbed to the top of the overall World Cup rankings following his success in claiming victory in the penultimate combined event of the season in Chamonix.
Bode Miller, 30, won the downhill section of the two-discipline super-combined and he also claimed the slalom from Ivica Kostelic and Rainer Schoenfelder on Sunday.
Bode Miller, who pulled out of the American ski ream last year and doing badly at the "006 Winter Olympics, has made a brillinta comeback and now leads the overall rankings from Austrian Benjamin Raich.
And Bode Miller has won two downhills this season, in Bormio and Wengen, as well as winning last week's combined event at Kitzbuehel.
Bode Miller knows when he is on a winning streak and he said: "In 2005 I had six victories out of the first 10 or 11 races, so if I'm skiing well I have the ability to win every event."
