Leon Taylor and Peter Waterfield lead British divers in Melbourne
Olympic and world medal-holding divers Leon Taylor and Peter Waterfield are leading the British 11-strong team's efforts at March's World Diving Championships in Melbourne.
Leon Taylor and Peter Waterfield made a comeback and continued their successful performances at last month's British Championships when Taylor showed how fit he was following recovery from a fourth shoulder operation.
Leon Taylor and Peter Waterfield won bronze in the 10m synchro at the 2005 World Championships and also claimed silver at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
"It was good to see Leon back in action once again in December after his long lay-off," British Diving performance director Steve Foley commented.
"He and Pete (Waterfield) looked great together in the 10m synchro and you wouldn't believe they hadn't dived together in such a long time.
"If they dive like that in Melbourne the other nations are going to have their work cut out. They are genuine medal contenders," Steve Foley added.
