Lewis Hamilton versus Chris Hoy in Race of the Champions
A special event will take place when British triple Olympic cycling gold medallist Chris Hoy will be racing against Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton at Wembley.
23-year-old Hamilton will be in a Mercedes car and Hoy will be on a bicycle at the Race of Champions, which is taking place on 14 December.
32-year-old Hoy had claimed sprint, keirin and team sprint gold medals in the Beijing Olympic Games and became the first British athlete to win three gold medals at the same Olympic Games for the last century.
Whilst Hoy is well aware that it will be a real challenge to match the acceleration of Hamilton's Mercedes, he is counting on the twists and bends of the track to give him a more equal chance of winning.
Hamilton, who was the youngest racing driver to win the Formula One world title this year, will also take part in a demonstration run with his McLaren F1 car.
