Olympic champion Christian Olsson returns to the action
Olympic triple jump champion Christian Olsson is hoping to end his
16-month injury nightmare by returning to action in Glasgow on 28
January.
The 25-year-old Swede has been suffering with an injury to his ankle since September 2004.
Christian Olsson hopes to defend his world indoor title in Moscow next
March and is set to meet doctors before confirming his appearance in
Glasgow.
"I have targeted the Glasgow match for my return," said Christian Olsson.
"But I will only compete indoors if I am 100% ready and I should find
out within the next couple of weeks whether that will be possible.
"I am eager to be back competing in the indoor season and to have the opportunity to defend my world title in Moscow."
