Andrew Lemoncello is among the UK Olympics team
 Steeplechaser Andrew Lemoncello and sprinters Craig Pickering and Tyrone Edgar are among the names announced for the UK's Olympic team for the Beijing Games. 110m hurdler Allan Scott and high jumper Martyn Bernard are the members of the men's team.
The 100m runners had to wait for the result of Dwain Chambers' appeal against his Olympic ban to be arrived at.
Stephanie Twell and Jenny Meadows have been included in the women's team.
Meadows had successfully lowered her best ever over 800m to 1:59.11, and Andrew Lemoncello also recorded a personal best to make sure that he qualified.
The women's squad will have new British record holder, Montell Douglas, and Laura Turner added to the 100m.
Jemma Simpson will join Jenny Meadows and Marilyn Okoro in the 800m, and Susan Scott has been chosen ahead of Hannah England for the 1500m.
Rikki Fifton and Dale Garland have been named as additions to the men's 4x400m squad, and Vicki Barr and Donna Fraser will be in the women's relay team.
