Many of the best Paralympic athletes are continuing in their preparations for the Olympic Games at this week's Paralympic World Cup, which is being staged in Manchester.
The Paralympic World Cup is celebrating its fourth year and it features four main sporting categories - basketball, cycling, swimming and athletics. The event runs from Wednesday until Sunday.
As many as 400 contestants from 45 different countries will be competing in the event, which is being held in various venues across Manchester.
ParalympicsGB chief executive Phil Lane said about it: "I'm sure the event will be the perfect platform for Britain's athletes ahead of the Paralympics."
The Paralympic World Cup is one of the biggest multi-sport events besides the Paralympic Games, and this year a record number of over 60 athletes from China will take part.
The event begins on Wednesday with wheelchair basketball when Great Britain's men face European champions from Sweden and Germany and America, whilst the women compete against Brazil, China and the Netherlands.
