France coach Raymond Domenech pleased with team despite draw with South Korea
France coach Raymond Domenech was still in a good mood and pleased with his team in spite of the frustrating draw with South Korea that left France with the problem of qualifying for the second round.
The result of the game has left France in danger of being out of the event at the first round stage for a second successive World Cup.
Raymond Domenech, 54, said: "I'm disappointed but we still have a game against Togo."
However, he wasn't happy about the failure to receive a goal when Patrick Vieira's header crossed the line, and he explained: "We got a second goal but it was not recognised."
Patrick Vieira's effort was clawed away by goalkeeper Lee Woon-jae, but the Korean's hand could be seen to be behind the line.
And Raymond Domenech added: "It's a pity that at this level we do not use all the technology that we could.
"It was definitely the turning point."
But Raymond Domenech insisted he wouldn't make changes to his side, in spite of a second poor result and he said: "I was very satisfied with the performance of all our players.
