Brazil's Ronaldo tested after headaches
Brazil striker Ronaldo went to a clinic on Wednesday complaining of dizziness and headaches, however he is expecting to train as usual on Thursday.
The Brazilian football association (CBF) said Ronaldo had a medical check-up during the visit and the CBF website said: "No abnormality was found. Ronaldo is, therefore, in normal condition for training."
Ronaldo, 29, was criticised for his display in Brazil's 1-0 victory over Croatia in their World Cup game on Tuesday, and in fact he was jeered at as Robinho replaced him after 69 minutes.
Ronaldo had suffered a mystery illness just before the 1998 final against France and put in a poor performance in Brazil's 3-0 defeat in Paris, however, CBF spokesman Rodrigo Paiva insisted Ronaldo's performance against Croatia and the recent medical tests were entirely unrelated to the 1998 issue.
"Ronaldo is fine, he just fell a bit dizzy - nothing serious," said Rodrigo Paiva.
