Rangers Fernando Ricksen out for a month with injury
Rangers midfielder Fernando Ricksen will be out of action on the field
for at least a month due to a torn stomach muscle that has been
troubling him.
The Dutchman was substituted at half-time during the 3-2 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
Fernando Ricksen told the Sun: "I've had this problem all season long and there is nothing I can do about it.
"I've been playing for five months with a torn stomach muscle. There have been injections and you can't keep going like that."
Fernando Ricksen will now miss the holiday season period, starting with the home match against Hearts at Ibrox on Saturday.
"The truth is this has plagued me because all your energy and strength
comes from the core of your body," Fernando Ricksen said.
"It has floored me at times and I should have had a six-week rest."
