Gretna FC let injured Fabian Yantorno go
Gretna Football Club have had to let their injured player Fabian Yantorno go because they sadly are unable to pay for his rehabilitation.
25-year-old Uruguayan Fabian Yantorno has been away from the action since 19 January, when he damaged a knee ligament whilst playing against Falkirk.
Gretna FC caretaker manager Mick Wadsworth explained: "Fabian needs specialist rehabilitation, which we can't provide. It was his and his agent's wish that he could be released so he could go elsewhere for treatment."
Troubled club Gretna looked into the matter recently and Mick Wadsworth admitted they simply do not have the money or facilities to offer Fabian Yantorno what he needs to get better again.
Fabian Yantorno was Gretna's best player in the first half of the season, and he claimed four goals since he arrived to join Gretna from Uruguayan team Miramar Misiones last summer.
