Arsenal footballer Bacary Sagna sidelined
Arsenal footballer Bacary Sagna has been sidelined for at least three weeks because of an ankle injury he has suffered.
France international player, Bacary Sagna, 25, who plays as a defender, scored his team's only goal in their 2-1 loss to Chelsea before he was forced to limp off the field.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger explained the latest update on Bacary Sagna's condition: "The first news that we have is that he could be out for quite a while. I have seen it again. He wanted to kick the ball out and he twisted his ankle. That made it a bad injury."
Bacary Sagna will probably not be able to take part in Arsenal's triple header with Liverpool in the Premier League and Champions League in early April and he stands to miss out on his team's visit to Manchester United on 13 April.
Bacary Sagna has up until now played well for Arsenal this season and he joined Arsenal from the French team Auxerre in the summer of last year.
