Welsh rugby union player Gavin Henson fit again
Welsh rugby union player Gavin Henson says that he is fit and ready to play and happy to respond to any emergency calls from the Wales World Cup squad.
Last week, Gavin Henson got dropped from the national side's training squad, after fitness coach Mark Bennett had claimed Gavin Henson was unfit.
However, Gavin Henson is reported to have responded by saying that he is eager to play and only weeks away from regaining full fitness.
Gavin Henson had been described as "heartbroken" because he was forced to miss out on the 2007 World Cup.
Gavin Henson says that, in spite of his disappointment, he is ready and willing to answer a late Wales call and is on stand-by should they require his services.
Gavin Henson said: "I'm a bit behind the rest of the backs which is disappointing from a personal point of view, but if the call came from the Wales camp of course I would make myself available."
