Welsh rugby star Gavin Henson signs 3-year deal with Ospreys
Wales and British Lions rugby star Gavin Henson has signed a new three-year-contract with the Ospreys that will keep him with the team until 2011.
Henson is the 12th Ospreys player to have recently agreed such a long-term deal.
26-year-old Henson has been with the Ospreys since the club began in 2003, and before that he played for Swansea.
Gavin Henson has made 88 appearances for the team and he is also the record points-scorer with 773, as well as second in the try-scoring list with 21.
Henson has a total of 28 caps, has starred in two Grand Slam victories but he will not be able to take part in a match again until the end of September because he is recovering from an operation on an injured ankle.
"I can't wait to get back into action as soon as possible and hopefully help both the Ospreys and Wales on to more success," Gavin Henson said.
