Welsh Rugby Union announces Graeme Maw as new director
The Welsh Rugby Union has announced that it has appointed Graeme Maw as its Elite Performance Director.
Graeme Maw, who was formerly the British Triathlon chief, joined the British Triathlon Association as performance director in 2001 but he has recently resigned from that post.
In the past, Graeme Maw was also the high performance manager for swimming at the Queensland Academy of Sport in Australia.
Graeme Maw graduated at Loughborough University, and he has studied exercise physiology in the America and Australia.
Graeme Maw is indeed well qualified for his new role and he also gained a PhD at the University of Wollongong as well as being considered an accomplished sports scientist and performance analyst.
Graeme Maw is hoping to help the maximum number of players achieve their best and to create a better level of competition for positions in Wales.
