Wales rugby union player Kevin Morgan injured
Welsh rugby union player Kevin Morgan may have to miss out on the rest of the RBS Six Nations campaign due to breaking his jaw.
Kevin Morgan, who plays for Newport Gwent Dragons and who in an impressive career has won 34 caps for Wales, now needs an operation on the injury, sustained in the 21-9 defeat to Scotland.
Full back and sometimes winger Kevin Morgan has been ruled out of the trip to Paris on 24 February, and number eight player Ryan Jones could also miss the French game after straining his calf at Murrayfield.
"Kevin's availability for the rest of the Championship is uncertain," Wales physiotherapist Mark Davies explained about Kevin Morgan and he added: "But we are not ruling out a return at this stage. With the aim of achieving the earliest return to action it has been decided that Kevin will undergo an operation."
It's not all bad news for Wales rugby union, though, because James Hook has been declared not injured after a scan on his knee showed no structural harm had been caused.
