Serge Betsen for France rugby team despite injury
French rugby star Serge Betsen is in France's team for the World Cup semi-final against England although he suffered an injury to his head in the quarter-final, when he got hurt after just five minutes playing against New Zealand.
France rugby coach Bernard Laporte has chosen the same line-up and replacement players who were in the game against the All Blacks now to be playing in Saturday's match with England.
Bernard Laporte explained it would have been hard to make any changes to such a successful team and he said: "All the players gave us satisfaction against New Zealand and that made it very difficult for us to take somebody out."
Bernard Laporte also said that Serge Betsen is well enough to play, although he might have looked in a bad way when he left the pitch in Cardiff, and Bernard Laporte added: "He's passed all the medical tests. If we'd had the slightest doubt, we wouldn't have picked Serge."
