Queensland Reds rugby coach Eddie Jones resigns
Former Australia rugby coach Eddie Jones has decided that he is resigning from coaching the Queensland Reds.
Eddie Jones, 47, is moving with his family back to the UK but he will stay on with the Queensland Reds until a new coach has been found.
The Queensland Reds had had disappointing results recently and had won just two of 13 games this season.
But Eddie Jones isn't retiring just yet it seems and is on the lookout for a new job. Eddie Jones explained: "I'm looking forward to moving overseas and maybe taking on a coaching role,"
"I've been lucky enough to coach the Brumbies, Australia and Queensland - I've had a pretty good go."
Queensland Reds chairman Peter Lewis said: "Eddie's family is relocating to the UK and, while he had initially announced his intention to coach the Reds in 2008, he decided that it was in Queensland rugby's best interests to recruit a successor now rather than endure 12 months of instability and speculation."
