Lawrence Dallaglio retires from rugby
Lawrence Dallaglio, who is a former captain of England's rugby team, has announced his retirement from the sport for the second time in his legendary career.
Lawrence Dallaglio, 35, will be finishing his club career with Wasps at the end of the season.
Lawrence Dallaglio, who played in England's successful 2003 World Cup campaign, had also already retired from Test rugby in 2004, but he changed his mind in 2006 and played in the 2007 World Cup, taking his 85th cap in the final.
The Sun newspaper quoted Lawrence Dallaglio as saying: "I have enjoyed a marvellous run and been the proudest of Englishmen every time I wore my country's jersey."
Lawrence Dallaglio scored 17 tries for England and, along with Rory Underwood, is second behind Jason Leonard on the list of cap winners for his country.
However, perhaps Lawrence Dallaglio will be best remembered for his part in England's famous World Cup win in 2003.
