GB rugby coach Brian Noble warns of tough New Zealand match
Great Britain rugby coach Brian Noble has warned that Saturday's game against New Zealand will be even tougher than last week's clash with Australia.
Either a win or a draw as the result in Wellington would be enough to put the team into the Tri-Nations final against Australia.
Brian Noble said: "We fully understand that if we don't show, we will get beaten because the teams are that good.
"We would be silly not to recognise that this is probably going to be a tougher game than last weekend."
Despite beating the Australians 23-12 with an impressive performance in Sydney last week, the British team's campaign had begun with a loss to New Zealand in Christchurch a fortnight ago but Brian Noble thinks his side will be better prepared this time.
"Over the last couple of years on any day each team could beat each other and that's been reinforced again through this tournament.
"We are enthusiastic but we understand fully the toughness of the game on Saturday and we are looking forward to it.
"We are excited and we think we have got some more improvement in us," Brian Noble explained.
