martin johnson Former-England rugby captain Martin Johnson, who retired from playing in 2005, says he has been approached about working in some capacity with the Rugby Football Union again but he is not ready to return to the sport.

"People have made overtures to me about coming back but the time isn't right," Martin Johnson is reported to have said in The Times newspaper.

Martin Johnson, 37, also added: "I honestly haven't decided what I want to do." "I will get involved in coaching if and when I want to. The biggest criterion is that I 100% want to do it."

Martin Johnson has been rumoured to be making a return to England rugby but he said he would not be be pushed into coaching or working as a manager at either club or international level.

"I will not do it because somebody says they think I should," said Martin Johnson.
