England rugby player Tom Rees injured
England rugby player Tom Rees is going to be sidelined for the remainder of the RBS Six Nations because he is suffering from an injury to his knee.
Tom Rees who plays as a forward, has hurt ligaments in his left knee whilst playing in Saturday's loss to Wales and he now faces eight weeks of treatment and rest.
Tom Rees is not the only player away from the action due to injury because Harlequins winger David Strettle has injured a metatarsal in his left foot, and he will be unable to play for four to eight weeks.
David Strettle has to see a specialist again in three weeks' time for a check up.
Wasps director of rugby Ian McGeechan was talking about Tom Rees and sadly said: "This is very disappointing news, particularly bearing in mind way Tom was playing in Saturday's game and I think his departure had a significant impact on England's performance in the remainder of the game."
