New England cricketer Tim Ambrose makes Test debut
Cricket player Tim Ambrose, who is a new wicket-keeper for England, is getting ready to make his Test debut.
But that's not the only excitement in Tim Ambrose's life now because on the eve of the first Test against New Zealand, he will be meeting his mother just before the game, and it will be the first time in several years that he has seen her.
Tim Ambrose's mother Sally will be making her arrival in Hamilton late on Tuesday, which is the day before the Test starts.
Tim Ambrose explained: "I haven't seen my mum for a few years because she's living in Australia. My dad came over in the summer to visit me but I'm looking forward to seeing both of them."
Tim Ambrose was born in Australia in New South Wales, but he moved to England to follow a career in cricket, making his debut for Sussex in 2001, and then moving on to join Warwickshire.
