New England cricketer Jonathan Trott may miss out
New England cricketer Jonathan Trott looks likely to miss Thursday's Twenty20 game with West Indies at The Oval after injuring his hand.
Jonathan Trott, who plays as a batsman and who was born in South Africa but has played domestic cricket in South Africa. England and New Zealand, has had X-rays to show the extent of any damage done and along with Warwickshire team-mate Ian Bell he is now on the injury list.
Ian Bell has an injury to his groin and had an ultrasound scan on Tuesday.
Jonathan Trott, who featured in two junior matches for South Africa in the under-15 and under-19 World Cups, was inclued in England's one-day squad, although this was a real surprise.
England cricket management team are hoping to announce on Wednesday the result of the X-rays on Jonathan Trott's injured hand.
