Michael Vaughan's broken finger may mean he misses Test
England cricket skipper Michael Vaughan has broken his middle finger and this injury may well mean that he will have to miss the first Test against West Indies on 17 May.
Michael Vaughan, 32, sustained the injury while was playing for Yorkshire against Hampshire.
Yorkshire cricket team physio Scott McAllister is reported to have explained that: "It looks like he might be out for three to four weeks, but it's too early to say with absolute certainty."
"It's desperately bad luck for Michael after the succession of problems he's had to contend with, and we will be monitoring his progress over the next few days."
But although the playing prospects for Michael Vaughan aren't looking good, the England and Wales Cricket Board have not yet ruled him out of the Test, and a statement revealed that he will have a further assessment before the match to see if he is fit enough.
