Jamaican police due to say how Bob Woolmer died
After previous reports had gone out saying that Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer had been murdered, Jamaican police are now expected to state that he died of natural causes.
A news conference has been scheduled at which it is thought that the police will present new evidence that has been turned up.
Jamaican press reports have said that three pathologists, including one from Scotland Yard, all agree that Bob Woolmer died of natural causes.
If this the truth then the Jamaican police, headed by Deputy Police Commissioner Mark Shields will look very stupid and have a lot of questions to answer, after they had suggested that he was murdered and died after being strangled.
Jamaican Police Commissioner Lucius Thomas had previously announced that Bob Woolmer had died from "manual strangulation" but just last week, he said they were studying new material relating to Bob Woolmer's death.
The Pakistani cricket authorities have claimed that if Bob Woolmer's death is confirmed as being from natural causes, they will expect a public apology to their players who had been unjustly suspected of being his killers.
