England cricketer Andrew Flintoff visits India with Lancashire
England all-round cricketer Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff will carry on his recovery from ankle trouble when he accompanies his Lancashire teammates to India in February.
Andrew Flintoff, 30, last played for England in the World Twenty20 back in September of last year but then had his fourth ankle surgery a month later.
Andrew Flintoff was to have become part of the England Lions tour to India but instead he is now going to attend a batting clinic arranged by Lancashire.
Andrew Flintoff could then be able to join Lancashire's first-team tour of the UAE the month after, however, he will not be able to bowl still.
Andrew Flintoff's latest operation has prevented him being involved in the winter tours of Sri Lanka and New Zealand, however, now the England management are hoping he could feature as a batsman with the Lions, who will take part in the first-class Duleep Trophy in India.
