England cricketer Andrew Flintoff makes a return
Bowler Andrew Flintoff is making his comeback for England in the first one-dayer against India.
Andrew Flintoff, 29, had surgery for the third time on his ankle in June, and this caused speculation that he may need to change his style of playing and even give up bowling.
However, Andrew Flintoff says there is no way he intends changing his style of bowling action just to try and avoid further problems, although he can see that he will have to keep an eye on his ankle for the rest of his career as a cricketer.
Andrew Flintoff said: "I think I'm going to be on this rehabilitation programme for the rest of my career if I'm honest, so that my ankle can stand up to the full rigours of bowling."
And Andrew Flintoff added: "I could have not had the surgery and operated at 70-75% with the ball, but that's not what I or the team want so that's why I had the op."
