England cricket skipper Michael Vaughan encourages his team
England cricket skipper Michael Vaughan has urged the younger members of the team to grab the opportunity to gain a Test series victory against New Zealand.
A disappointing first-Test loss in Hamilton went before a clear-cut win in the second Test in Wellington.
However, with the vital importance of their chance they get in Napier from Friday, Michael Vaughan said: "We've won one game of cricket - it's only 1-1 and we really want to win this series. We are improving, but it's the early stages. This is a big chance for us."
Michael Vaughan also said: "We want to win a series because we haven't won our last two and it would be great if we could do that here certainly after where we were after Hamilton."
England's chances could well depend on their young seamers that played so well in Wellington, and now the same XI are expected to take part in the final Test.
James Anderson and Stuart Broad claimed 10 wickets between them in that win and were the replacements for the veteran cricketers Matthew Hoggard and Steve Harmison, but Michael Vaughan has told the two young players that they must keep their standards high if they want to stay in his team.
