Cricketer Ryan Sidebottom misses out due to injury
England cricketer Ryan Sidebottom is looking likely to have to miss England's next two one-dayers against India because of the side injury which kept him out of the win at the Rose Bowl on Tuesday.
Ryan Sidebottom, 29, who hails from Nottingham, sustained the injury in the third Test draw at The Oval, and was unable to take part in the second innings.
Ryan Sidebottom is now subject to re-assessment after the third game on Monday to determine if a replacement is needed to stand in for him.
Ryan Sidebottom has performed well since being recalled this summer after being away from sport for six years.
Ryan Sidebottom was called into action again after Matthew Hoggard was injured in the opening Test against the West Indies and in his comeback he took 16 wickets in the next three games as England went on to a 3-0 series victory.
Ryan Sidebottom has also been selected for England's 15-man team for next month's World Twenty20 tournament, which is set to be held in South Africa.
