Bob Woolmer's family call for post mortem in Jamaica
Recently-deceased Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer's family have asked the authorities in Kingston, Jamaica to carry out a post mortem on his body, it has been reported.
Pakistan's trainer, Murray Stevenson, has been authorised to arrange for the autopsy, the team's assistant manager Asad Mustafa has said, and afterwards the body of Bob Woolmer will be flown to Cape Town, the home town of the veteran cricketer.
Bob Woolmer, a known diabetes sufferer, died on Sunday aged 58, after being found unconscious in a hotel room.
The cause of his death wasn't clear but he had been complaining of breathing difficulties, although his son is said to have suggested that his father's death was caused by stress that brought on a heart attack.
Jamaica police deputy commissioner Mark Shields revealed that the death was being treated as suspicious in spite of Bob Woolmer's known diabetes condition and reported breathing complaint.
Captain of Pakistan cricket team Inzamam-ul-Haq, who will be soon to retire, said he was still coming to terms with the death of Bob Woolmer.
