Batsman Yuvraj Singh to miss India's opener in Kuala Lumpur
Batsman Yuvraj Singh will miss out India's opener in the tri-series in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday because he has been taken ill.
Yuvraj Singh, 24, has a viral fever and will now be arriving on the day his team take on the West Indies.
Yuvraj Singh has become a key player in one-dayers in the past year, scoring four of his seven ODI centuries.
The India cricket team are using the Malaysia event, also featuring Australia and the West Indies, in readiness for the Champions Trophy, which they are hosting next month and the side has been boosted by the return after shoulder surgery of Sachin Tendulkar.
One-day cricket's most successful batsman Sachin Tendulkar, with 14,146 runs and 39 centuries to his credit, has not played for India since the Test series against England back in March.
