Australian cricketer Shane Watson is injured
Australia cricket team will be without cricketer Shane Watson for at least the next three weeks because of an injury he has sustained.
Shane Watson, 25, tore a calf muscle whilst playing against Bangladesh and was compelled to abandon the game.
Shane Watson will not be able to play again until the World Cup semi-finals, which are scheduled for April 24 and 25.
Physio Alex Kontouris explained: "I want to review it later in the week. It all depends on how quickly he's improving,
"If he is feeling great by the end of the week, the prognosis is very good.
"If it's not, it's probably going to take a lot longer to recover.
"You would probably want him to be as close to 100% as possible for him to come back - because you wouldn't want it to re-occur."
This injury is the latest to cause career problems for Shane Watson who had to miss the Ashes series as well due to an injured hamstring.
