Australia cricket captain Ricky Ponting unsure of line up
Australian cricket captain Ricky Ponting sees his team entering Friday's World Cup warm-up against England but he has still not decided on the best bowling line-up.
Australia defeated Zimbabwe on Tuesday by 106 runs but Ricky Ponting had used eight bowlers over the 50 overs and with this in mind he said: "If we are not convinced on what our best XI is, then we may have to give six or seven bowlers seven or eight overs each."
Australia has had problems with injuries to team members and will be without fast bowler Brett Lee and all-round cricketer Andrew Symonds and opener Matthew Hayden as well, will have to be excluded from the start of the tournament.
If this wasn't enough in the way of setbacks for the Australian team skipper Ricky Ponting himself has a bad back, Michael Clarke has a hip problem and Damien Martyn retired in the recent Ashes series.
