Subaru driver Petter Solberg aims to win at the Wales Rally
Subaru's driver Petter Solberg has promised he is going for a full-on attack and aims to end a disappointing year for his team with a fifth successive Wales Rally Great Britain win.
Petter Solberg, who is partnered by British co-driver Phil Mills, said: "It's the final round of the championship and there's nothing to lose.
"It's going to be a big attack from the first metre of the rally, it's as simple as that."
World champion driver Sebastien Loeb has pulled out because he has a broken arm.
Petter Solberg has not won a race since last September in Wales but his victory was marred by the death of Peugeot's co-driver Michael Park.
Petter Solberg's triumph that September was given to him by Citroen's Sebastien Loeb, who took deliberate time penalties to make sure he didn't take his second title in such tragic circumstances and with three rounds remaining.
Wales Rally begins on Friday in the forests of South Wales and starts and ends in Cardiff.
