Sebastien Loeb wins at Monte Carlo Rally
World champion rally driver Sebastien Loeb has triumphed on the final day of the Monte Carlo Rally.
Sebastien Loeb, 32, who is one of the most successful rally drivers in history, won six of the 15 stages and led from start to finish.
However, late in the 2006 season, Sebastien Loeb had broken his right humerus in a mountain-biking accident near his home in Switzerland and had to miss the rallies in Turkey and Australia. So his win is even more impressive considering that he is has recently recovered from this injury.
"The feeling with my arm is good," Sebastien Loeb explained and added: "Starting with a 46km stage on Friday made it a bit tired, but it is okay."
Commenting on his most recent success Sebastien Loeb said: "It's a victory, and our fourth in Monte Carlo, so it's very good," he said.
"Starting the season with 10 points is important for the championship.
"The feeling was very good with the car, and it was very fast, so I have to thank the team for doing such a good job on it."
