Red Bull chief Christian Horner hints that David Coulthard being kept
Red Bull boss Christian Horner has given a strong hint that David Coulthard will be staying with the team next year.
David Coulthard, 35, gave the team their first podium finish when he claimed third place in Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix.
"I'm very happy with the job that he's doing and he and I get along very well," said Christian Horner.
"If a relationship's working and it's right, then why stop it? He's very keen to be part of the team going forward."
Christian Horner said Red Bull would not be deciding on their 2007 drivers until later on this summer.
David Coulthard said he would be happy to stay on at Red Bull for 2007, especially now former McLaren designer Adrian Newey has come along and will be leading the design on the new car.
"I think results, naturally, don't do any harm but the reality is that the conversations regarding next year are ongoing and have been and it is quite clear what my intention is," said David Coulthard.
