Finnish driver Marcus Gronholm happy with Swedish win
Finnish Ford Focus driver Marcus Gronholm was delighted with his win in the Rally of Sweden where he beat Sebastien Loeb who came second.
Marcus Gronholm claimed his fifth win in the event after he got control of the final stage to finish in a time of one minute 40.7 seconds.
French driver Sebastien Loeb's Citroen was in second place and Marcus Gronholm's compatriot and team-mate, Mikko Hirvonen, was in third position.
Marcus Gronholm demonstrated his skills on the snowy and icy roads but Sebastien Loeb saw that he had spoiled his chances with a wrong choice of tyres for the event.
Referring to the Norwegian Rally, which is next on the calendar, Marcus Gronholm said: "Norway is neutral ground, it's a bit different and no one knows what to expect there.
"But this win was good, really good."
