Yamaha rider James Ellison tips Nicky Hayden to end Valentino Rossi's titles run

nickyhayden Tech3 Yamaha rider James Ellison says that Nicky Hayden is the man to finally bring an end to Valentino Rossi's run of five straight MotoGP world titles.

Repsol Honda's Nicky Hayden, 24, won last time out in Laguna Seca, which gave him a 34-point championship lead over Dani Pedrosa, with Valentino Rossi trailing in fourth place.

"Before Laguna I'd have put money on Rossi, but it'd take a miracle now," James Ellison said.

"Nicky won't let the pressure get to him, he's too cool."

Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi lies 51 points behind Nicky Hayden in the standings, with MotoGP's Dani Pedrosa in second place and Marco Melandri third.

Former Rookie of the Year Nicky Hayden who came third in last year's championship, has been on the podium in nine out of 11 races so far this season but he has only won three races so far in his MotoGP career, with two of those being in his home race at Laguna Seca.
