Valentino Rossi beats Dani Pedrosa in China
Italian motorbike rider Valentino Rossi beat Dani Pedrosa at the China MotoGP.
It was a tough battle between the two riders but Rossi managed to get the lead over his Spanish opponent in the last laps of the race.
Rossi's victory was his first in eight races and means he has made a return to his past form, and it marked his 62nd win in the premier racing class.
Valentino Rossi celebrated his success by pulling off the track straight away, kissing his motorbike and then went to sit on the barrier near the pits, and he said: "I'm very, very happy. It's been a long time without victory."
Rossi has had problems this season after changing over to tyre makers Bridgestone, but in Shanghai it looked as if his problems are over.
Valentino Rossi also went on to add: "My rhythm was fantastic to the end, and I was able to ride the bike like I wanted, so it was a great victory."
