Motorcycle racer James Toseland wins at Dutch Grand Prix
Motorcycle racer James Toseland improved his lead in the World Superbikes standings to 32 points when he won a race and also gained a second place at the Dutch Grand Prix in Assen.
James Toseland , who is a Ten Kate Honda rider, was in the lead nearly all the way in race one. James Toseland was briefly being beaten by Troy Bayliss but he soon recovered to finish ahead of Nori Haga and Ruben Xaus.
In the second race James Toseland and Troy Bayliss battled hard before Troy Bayliss snatched the victory from James Toseland right on the finishing line.
Although he had won the one race and finished second in the other, James Toseland was disappointed not to have claimed his first ever double win by just 0.009 secs, and he said: "I had to ride so fast around the last lap I braked a bit deep. The wily fox (Bayliss) came past me, what a race."
James Toseland added: "I'm so disappointed for the team and everybody in Holland not to have a double win."
