James Toseland looks forward to lessons from Colin Edwards
Motorbike rider James Toseland says he is keen to get some tips from team-mate Colin Edwards when he changes over to riding for MotoGP this winter.
James Toseland, is to partner experienced Texan rider Colin Edwards at Tech 3 Yamaha, and James Toseland said: "His experience can only help me because I'm going to be a complete novice at MotoGP level with a lot to learn."
James Toseland, who is currently 66 points ahead of Nori Haga in the World Superbike standings, added: "I was his team-mate 10 years ago in World Supersport with Castrol Honda, so it's ironic that we're together again."
But James Toseland was well aware that his new team will need to do really well this forthcoming winter and he went on to say:"At the moment Yamaha isn't the strongest package out there and Ducati are flying but I know Yamaha's plans for next year and I'm sure it'll be a competitive package."
