UK racing driver Lewis Hamilton optimistic despite poor season
British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton is feeling optimistic despite a very poor start to the season this year.
24-year-old Hamilton, who is currently world champion in the motorsport, has only earned nine points this campaign so far and his worst result of his career was being 19th at Silverstone.
Hamilton's best result of the season has been coming fourth in Bahrain in April.
Hamilton's McLaren car has faced problems competing against the Brawn and Red Bull vehicles.
However, Hamilton, who came in at a disappointing16th at the British Grand Prix, nevertheless thinks he can still do well in the rest of the season.
Although he hs had some very poor and disappointing results this year, Hamilton thinks that progress is being made on his McLaren racing car and he feels confident that he still has time to make up for his earlier problems.
