Switzerland's Neel Jani victorious at Grand Prix
France's eight-race winning streak came to an end when Switzerland's
Neel Jani picked up his first victory of the A1 Grand Prix season in
Dubai.
Neel Jani capitalised on Nicolas Lapierre's spin in race one to finish ahead of Italy's Enrico Toccacelo.
Nicolas Lapierre made amends in the second race by overtaking Britain's
Robbie Kerr, with seven laps remaining, to win the race.
Robbie Kerr took second ahead of South African Stephen Simpson and British F3 champion Alvaro Parente of Portugal.
China's Tengyi Jiang finished fifth, earning his country's first points of the season.
Robbie Kerr came ninth in the first race after spinning, while
Yorkshire driver Adam Khan, who was driving for Pakistan, was out of
the points in 16th.
France led the A1 Grand Prix championship from Switzerland by 31 points.
