Scottish racing driver David Coulthard injured
Scottish Formula One driver David Coulthard has withdrawn from Red Bull's test session at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona because he has injured his neck.
David Coulthard, 36, pulled a neck muscle on the first day of the final pre-season test session but Toro Rosso's Sebastian Vettel will replace him on Tuesday.
David Coulthard is receiving medical treatment and still hopes to be fit enough for the final day.
David Coulthard's injury is said to be not serious but he doesn't want to risk making it any worse before the season opener in Melbourne on 16 March.
David Coulthard, who is going into his 15th season in Formula One racing, only completed 25 laps on Monday's test at the Spanish track.
There were problems being caused by wet weather in the morning session but David Coulthard's car also had technical problems.
