Ross Brawn says his team will be in Formula One next year
Brawn GP team owner Ross Brawn is confident that his team of drivers will be taking part in Formula One racing next year.
However, Brawn GP have been informed by the FIA, that the team has to submit an unconditional entry by this Friday if they want to make sure they can compete in the year ahead.
The other motorsport teams McLaren, BMW Sauber, Renault and Toyota are faced with the same situation.
Brawn feels that a dispute between Fota and the governing body, the FIA, over proposed budget caps can be sorted out so that all the teams involved will be eligible to take part in events.
Ever since the FIA proposed a voluntary budget cap of £40m per team for 2010, Fota and FIA have been arguing over the future of the sport.
All 10 current racing teams are on the list of entrants for the championship in 2010, although five of the teams were on a conditional basis only.
