Rookie Kyle Bush wins the race
Rookie Kyle Busch out-drove Nascar's top contenders to win the Checker Auto Parts 500 race on Sunday.
Title contender Greg Biffle dominated throughout, leading 189 of the
312 laps but Kyle Busch, who drives for Hendrick Motorsports, used a
pit stop strategy to get track position, taking the lead for the first
time on lap 230.
Kyle Busch said: "I want to thank Greg for racing me clean the whole
time. That was great. I had a blast racing with him. That was fun."
Greg Biffle took second, with Jeff Gordon third, Tony Stewart fourth and Carl Edwards back in sixth.
Tony Stewart now has a 52-point lead in the championship with one race weekend left.
