Red Bull sign Australian Formula One driver Mark Webber

markwebber Australian racing driver Mark Webber will be joining David Coulthard at Red Bull next season.

Mark Webber, 29, joins the Red Bull team after last week when he decided to leave Williams, where Alexander Wurz from Austria will replace him.

Mark Webber's move to a new team means Austrian Christian Klien is without a drive after two seasons.

The Red Bull drive for next season had become much sought after following Formula One design guru Adrian Newey joining the team in February.

Red Bull boss Christian Horner praised Mark Webber and said he had "undoubted speed and ability" and "the determination and motivation needed to succeed".

Mark Webber, who had driven for the Jaguar team that was taken over by Red Bull, said he believed he was joining the team "at exactly the right time for success in the future".
