Red Bull's Mark Webber says tyres help Lewis Hamilton
Red Bull driver Mark Webber thinks, the new tyres Lewis Hamilton has been using this year have considerably helped his impressive Formula One career.
Mark Webber says more experienced drivers have had problems in adapting to the new Bridgestone control tyres and he said: "It has been very difficult for the guys who are seasoned campaigners to get used to these tyres."
Mark Webber added: "The cars are vastly different but that final feel for us in terms of the confidence in the car are the tyres."
Mark Webber also said that the Bridgestone tyres behave very differently from the Michelin rubber ones used by many of Lewis Hamilton's recent rivals.
Lewis Hamilton's McLaren team-mate Fernando Alonso and Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen had experienced difficulties because they have driven on Michelins for at least the last five years and that's what they were used to.
