New Renault car for Fernando Alonso
Racing driver Fernando Alonso will have a brand new Renault car in which to bid for a third drivers' title in this year ahead.
The Renault Formula One team have launched the R29, which will have the wide nose and narrow rear wing design as shown in other cars this year, as well as carrying on last season's shark-fin engine cover.
The most notable alteration to the car is the eye-catching bright yellow colour scheme, in place of the blue and orange of last year.
The R29 had its debut showing at Portugal's Portimao circuit, however, Alonso won't be trying it out until later this week.
27-year-old Alonso has signed a contract with the Renault team until the end of the 2010 season in December.
Alonso ended last year very well with two wins in the last four races, and his performance has inspired renewed confidence in the team bidding for the Formula One title this year.
