Michael Schumacher warns Fernando Alonso that he is going for the Formula One title
Racing driver Michael Schumacher has warned the current champion Fernando Alonso that Ferrari are "charged up" and intent on helping him take back the Formula One title.
Michael Schumacher is back on home ground for this weekend's German Grand Prix, and lifted up by consecutive wins which have cut Fernando Alonso's lead to 17 points.
"Things can change quickly in Formula One and this means that even a big lead can suddenly vanish," Michael Schumacher said.
"Our competitive spirit has been reawakened and we want the title."
Michael Schumacher is very keen to use home advantage at Hockenheim as much as posssible and to put the pressure on Fernando Alonso.
"I don't think that I have to state how charged up we are," added Michael Schumacher. "I believe that it is clear for all to see.
"I can sense the same thing from the team. We are all focused on our objective - to put pressure on our adversaries, make up ground and win again," Michael Schumacher added.
